Claim deadlines for water utilities fast approaching; Potentially $14.5 billion available for PFAS remediation
Napoli Shkolnik previously announced Court approval of both the $12.5 billion settlement with 3M Company and $1.185 billion settlement with DuPont in the ongoing Court case over the contamination of drinking water with toxic per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances ("PFAS").
We are now proud to announce an additional settlement of $750 million with TYCO Fire Products.
Once approved by the Court, this settlement will add to the already substantial sums allocated to resolve the claims of Public Water Systems across the country that have been impacted by actual or threatened contamination of their water with PFAS and will provide funds for remediation of water supplies saving millions of dollars for ratepayers and taxpayers.
