Rural Water — Prevailing Then, Now, and in the Future

As all of you are aware, the National Rural Water Association had a very humble beginning with just a handful of water leaders joining in to start a mission, which is representing and serving rural America and our industry. Look at how far we have come.

I am honored to be the 23rd president of the National Rural Water Association. I share your pride in the outstanding job you have done for rural America. It reflects your service, your dedication, and your passion for what you do every single day.

With each challenge before us, you have answered the call. The pandemic, mask mandates, vaccines, material shortages, price hikes, new regulatory mandates, cyber-attacks, workforce challenges — you show up.

Rural America came out to vote in record numbers this cycle. Many attribute the election of President Trump and deciding who controls both the House and Senate to that large turnout. Elections give hope, aspirations, and beliefs that their voices will be heard, that their wishes will come true, and that their government will act on their behalf.
