Jeremy Aasen

Jeremy joined NDRWSA as the Disaster Recovery Circuit Rider in 2024. In April 2025, he transitioned into the Wastewater Technical Advisor role within the USDA’s Decentralized Wastewater Program. In this position, he conducts in‑depth assessments of community wastewater collection and treatment systems that fall under the program’s scope, helping communities identify needs, improve system performance, and ensure long‑term sustainability.  Jeremy brings a wealth of experience to this important role. He was the city of Thompson Public Works Director for 12 years.

He lives in rural Thompson with his wife and two daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys camping with his family, working on projects around the yard, helping friends with spring planting and harvest, as well as restoring and maintaining his antique tractors.
