Rachel Takala
Rachel began working with ND Rural Water Systems Association in June of 2022 as the source water protection specialist. She was born and raised in rural Minnesota. She graduated in 2002 from the University of Minnesota, Crookston with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Industries Management. In 2011, she moved to North Dakota with her husband and three children. Rachel worked as a para-professional for six years and eventually started driving school bus. In 2019, Rachel started as auditor for the city of Upham. Rachel enjoys spending time with her family camping, fishing, hunting, gardening or most any outdoor activity. She is a club leader and archery instructor for McHenry County 4-H and treasurer for the Leaders Council. Rachel is also an active member of the Upham Commercial Club.
