This is Module 4 of the SANS Five ICS Cybersecurity Critical Controls: Water Sector webinar series. Modern utility infrastructure is part of a connected ecosystem. From cloud-based applications to the Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT), more locally operated equipment is coming online to enhance efficiency, safety, and reduce error. Module 4 of this water sector cybersecurity training focuses on remote access for ICS controls. This training module helps operators understand how to set up security to safeguard controls from external threats. The module will review general access credentials at levels 3 and 3.5, and potential risks deeper inside the ICS network.
